About me

I'm a poet and professional writer based in Lisbon.

I've been investing in writing for the past 10 years as a means to develop a body of work in poetry and literature, which led to my first published book as a poet in 2019 -"Amor Peixe e Outras Loucuras" with Editora Urutau. More recently, the ability to work efficiently with words in different genres and styles also led to new professional opportunities in freelance copywriting, which I've been nurturing

I had some artistic collaborations in literary magazines: “A Sul de Nenhum Norte”, “Apócrifa – PLEC 8” and in the Turkish “Türkiye Dil ve Edebiyat Derneği”. During this time, many opportunities to show my work have arisen, leading me to literary festivals in Portugal and Turkey. 

Besides my literary work, I was engaged as an Assistant Producer, with the Portuguese theater group: "Grupo de Teatro Terapêutico". This is an artistic project that has a social compromise with the mental health community and links psychodrama with real theater work. 

I'm also into Literature Theory, Comparative Arts Studies, Classical and Contemporary Music, Philosophy and Psychoanalysis. These fields of knowledge help me to make fine researches in any subject and to keep the creativity flowing.
